Posted

The Department of Public Safety says a shattered window on a Valley freeway was not caused by a gunshot, but officials don't know what caused it.

DPS said the window shattered just after 5:00 a.m. on November 25 near the Loop 101 and Loop 202.

ABC15 video showed a shattered passenger side window sitting in a Mesa parking lot with a trooper investigating.

The driver told ABC15 he heard a loud pop and his window shattered.

On Thursday, DPS told ABC15 that they found no evidence or indication that the shattered window was caused by a gunshot. DPS said they don't know what caused the damage.
