Officials have arrested a man connected to a homicide in Mesa.
Carmen Osorio, 21, was located by detectives on June 4 in Coolidge and was detained.
Mesa police said Osorio is the suspect in a June 1 murder.
According to Mesa police, Liliana Naranjo was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound near 8th Avenue and Stapley Drive.
Police said her death was domestic violence related.
Osorio was transported to jail and refused the answer any questions. He was booked on one count of 2nd degree murder and one count of misconduct involving weapons.
