MESA, AZ — Authorities are working to identify a man's body found in a Mesa canal Tuesday evening.
Mesa police responded to the area of Center Street and Brown Road around 6:30 p.m. after receiving reports of a person in the water.
When officers arrived, they pulled the man from the water and pronounced him deceased on scene.
The man is described as a white male in his 30s.
The cause of death is under investigation.
