Authorities are releasing the name of a man found dead in a hotel parking lot Thursday in Mesa
Police were called to the Ramada Inn near Dobson and Baseline roads in response to a welfare check.
When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered 32-year-old Austin Parton dead in the parking lot.
An investigation is ongoing and the cause of Parton’s death is still unknown at this time. Detectives said they’re treating the scene as a possible suspicious death.
No additional information was immediately available.
