ASU police say a suspect accused of stealing property from a Drake tour bus in Phoenix was caught by police after entering a female student's dorm room.

Police say Travion King, 21, got a front desk student worker to let him up to the Barrett Honors College dorms on the Tempe campus. He then entered a woman's room through an unlocked door and tried to climb into her bed.

Police say King told the front desk worker that he was visiting a friend, and the worker let him enter the building. That worker has since been let go from the position, according to police.

A student eventually alerted officials that he was trespassing.

Police say he was arrested for trespassing, but officials found stolen property on him as well. The items, custom jewelry, were estimated to be worth about $400,000, according to court documents. They were originally reported by police to be $3 million. The victim who owned the stolen property confirmed the recovered belongings.

Surveillance footage showed King at Talking Stick Resort Arena during the Drake concert. He reportedly worked events with local venues in the past.

King admitted to smoking marijuana and PCP.
