TEMPE, AZ — Maricopa County Sheriff's Office deputies are investigating after a body was found in a Tempe canal.
Crews were called to the Tempe Canal near Broadway Road and Loop 101 around noon Thursday.
People are asked to avoid the area as the investigation continues.
Details of the person's identity or cause of death hasn't been released.
