Police say a body recovered from a lake behind a Tempe home is the same person who was reported missing earlier this week.
Tempe Fire Department officials say a dive team entered the lake about 1 p.m. Tuesday and quickly located a body.
Police began a search Monday evening for a missing adult who lives in the area.
Crews searched the lake because of its proximity to the missing person's residence.
The victim's name hasn't been released and an investigation is ongoing.
