A 2-year-old boy has died after being found at the bottom of an 11-foot murky pool at a house near Rural Road and Southern Avenue.
Officials said police were originally called to the home Monday after the boy's family called to report him missing. Once police and firefighters arrived, they found the boy at the bottom of the pool. He was taken to a hospital in very critical condition.
It is not known how long the boy was in the pool for, but officials said the pool gate was open.
Police say the investigation is ongoing, but no foul play is suspected.
