Avondale police are searching for an armed robber who assaulted a 71-year-old man at an ATM.
Investigators said the robbery happened shortly before 9 a.m. Monday, July 4, at a Chase Bank near McDowell and Dysart roads.
The assailant hit the victim on the head with an unknown object, took his cash and drove away in a red Sedan.
The attacker is described as a white or Hispanic man with dark hair and a goatee who was wearing a bright green long-sleeved shirt and khaki-colored shorts or pants.
