Police said autopsy results will determine the next steps of a death investigation after a body was discovered in a community park.
David Mendez said he called 911 after making the discovery Thursday afternoon in a park near 125th Avenue and Indian School Road.
Mendez said the body was that of a man who looked to be in his late 20s or early 30s, and was wearing decent clothes.
Mendez did not believe the man was homeless.
The body did not show visible injuries and there were no signs of foul play, according to Avondale police.
