Buckeye firefighters were able to gain quick control of a garbage truck fire Tuesday, keeping it from spreading to homes and other structures.

The fire started around 11 a.m. in the Verrado neighborhood in Buckeye.
Fire crews had to use nearly 700 gallons of water to put the fire out.
Crews think the fire started when burning trash spread to the back of the truck.
No one was injured in the blaze.
