Authorities are responding after a deadly rollover crash on Interstate 10 on Sunday.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety said troopers were on the scene of a serious injury crash on I-10 near 339th Avenue in the west Valley.
The crash initially closed traffic on the interstate in both directions, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. The westbound lanes were reopened, but eastbound traffic was being diverted at 339th, officials said.
Buckeye Valley firefighters said one person died in the two-vehicle crash. Another had to be airlifted to a nearby trauma center and two others were also taken to the hospital for treatment.
All of those involved are adults, officials said.
