Two teens have died after a serious car collision Friday evening.
Fire department officials said a truck came through the intersection at 59th Avenue and Camelback Road, striking the vehicle with the adults and teens inside.
Emergency crews worked to remove all four people, who had become trapped inside the vehicle.
Police say three passengers were transported to the hospital where a 17-year-old female and 16-year-old male were pronounced deceased. The third remains in serious condition.
The driver of the truck escaped the wreck uninjured, and is under investigation for possible impairment.
Glendale and Phoenix police were on scene overnight and the area was closed for several hours but it has since reopened.
