GLENDALE, AZ — A Glendale man was pulled from an apartment fire overnight.
Glendale Fire Department says the blaze near 59th Avenue and Camelback Road broke out early Thursday morning.
Officials searched the apartment and found a man inside who was in respiratory distress. He reportedly went into respiratory arrest and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, fire crews reportedly put out the fire.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
“The rapid response and impeccable treatment given by both Glendale and Phoenix Fire saved this man’s life,” Glendale Fire said in a media release.
Officials say the man is reportedly in stable condition.
