Police release sketch of suspect wanted for shooting security guard in Glendale

The Glendale Police Department has released a sketch of the suspect wanted for shooting an apartment complex security guard on August 5.

The incident happened at the complex near 59th Avenue and Bethany Home Road around 2 a.m.

The guard, Tony Valencia, was reportedly wearing a bullet proof vest at the time of the shooting. Police say it saved his life.

Police say the man they are looking for is described as a black man, 5'9" and about 200 pounds. Police said he had a mustache and a scar under one eye.
