The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office has made an arrest Sunday night after two bodies were found in a burned home in the Surprise area.

Crews responded to a house fire Saturday morning near 152nd Avenue and Jomax, and the home was fully engulfed in flames.

MCSO said after the fire was put out, the fire department found a body inside the home.

On Sunday afternoon, MCSO detectives went in and located a second body.

MCSO later announced that an arrest had been made, and the suspect was identified as 27-year-old Anthony Fimbres.

He is facing two counts of second-degree murder.

Crews were sifting through ashes for evidence Sunday afternoon, trying to determine ages of the victims and if they were male or female.
