Republican Andy Biggs easily defeated Democrat Talia Fuentes to take Arizona's Congressional District 5 seat Tuesday.

Biggs, who beat fellow Republican Christine Jones by just 27 votes after a recount in August's GOP primary, won with more than 80 percent of the vote.
