More than 150 House Democrats, including Congressmen Ruben Gallego and Raúl Grijalva, want President-elect Donald Trump's chief strategist gone.
In a letter sent to Trump Wednesday, House Democrats allege Steve Bannon, who Trump appointed to the chief strategist post Sunday, has white supremacist ties.
"As the Executive Chairman of Breitbart News, Mr. Bannon has repeatedly and aggressive pushed stories that promote anti-Semitism, xenophobia and racism," part of the letter reads. "Unfortunately, your appointment of Stephen Bannon whose ties to the White Nationalist movement have been well-documented, directly undermines your ability to unite the country."
House Democrats want Trump to rescind Bannon's appointment, but no word yet on whether he will do so.
