A serious crash has affected the eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 in western Arizona and left two people seriously injured.
The Arizona Department of Transportation says the crash is near milepost 77, which is 77 miles east of the Arizona-California border.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety says a commercial semi rear-ended another semi just before 8 a.m. Friday. Emergency crews on scene extricated two people from one of the semis. They both have serious injuries, according to officials.
Westbound lanes are not affected by the crash.
ADOT has partially reopened the eastbound lanes of I-10. The lanes were closed down around 8 a.m.
