A man is dead after crashing a car into a tree in Phoenix.
Authorities were called the scene near 12th Street and Dunlap Avenue around 6 p.m. Sunday.
According to Phoenix police, the driver was the only person in the car when the accident occurred. No other injuries were reported.
When the man was pulled from his car he had no pulse, a Phoenix fire spokesman said. It’s unknown whether the man suffered a medical incident before, or after the accident.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital but later died of his injuries.
An investigation is ongoing and the victim hasn’t been identified.
