The clock is ticking to Christmas and Valley gun shops have been working around the clock as customers do their Christmas shopping.
Guns are the number one thing on some people's list.
"People are really interested in the handguns," said Jesse Hanson with Shooter's World.
Hanson says it is too early to get the exact numbers on holiday sales, he believes his stores have seen a 30 to 40 percent increase from last year.
"We are not just seeing more purchases in firearms, but also training and shooting range sessions," said Hanson.
Most customers ABC15 interviewed cited recent mass shooting events as the reason they're interested in owning a gun.
