The Arizona Cardinals' 2016 preseason schedule will conclude with a home showdown against the defending Super Bowl champs.

The Cards' four-game preseason slate includes a game against the Denver Broncos at University of Phoenix Stadium, the team announced Thursday.

Arizona's other home preseason game will also be its preseason opener, against the Oakland Raiders between Aug. 11-15.

In between those matchups, the Cards will travel to take on the San Diego Chargers between Aug. 18-22, and they'll play the Houston Texans in a nationally televised game Aug. 28 at 1 p.m. AZ time.

The Cardinals' games against the Broncos, Chargers and Raiders will be televised on ABC15.

The Cardinals' regular season schedule is expected to be announced by the end of April. Along with their NFC West opponents (Seahawks, 49ers, Rams), the Cards will have home games against the Patriots, Jets, Redskins, Saints and Buccaneers.
