On Saturday, quarterback Manny Wilkins introduced himself to Arizona State football fans in grand fashion when he made an incredible leap over a Lumberjack defender while guiding the Sun Devils to a season-opening win over NAU.

On Monday, American track and field star Lolo Jones responded to a fan wondering how she would grade Wilkins' hurdling ability.
@pixelmandan disqualified. Knocking over the hurdle with your hands is not allowed other wise I'd do it. Lol

But during Tuesday's press conference, Wilkins didn't make a big deal out of Jones' remark.
"It's pretty cool to get a little recognition, but you know, Saturday's in the past now and we're moving on to next week," Wilkins said as the Sun Devils prepare to face Texas Tech in Tempe on Saturday.
After the win, ASU coach Todd Graham expressed some concern about Wilkins' Olympic-esque move. "Probably can't stay healthy doing that stuff," he said.
So, does that mean Wilkins' hurdling career is over?
"I was just trying to make a play; that's it," he said. "But probably."
