For the second time in four years, the Arizona State Sun Devils are Sun Bowl-bound.

The Devils learned Sunday that their 7-5 overall record and 6-3 record in the Pac-12 earned them a trip to El Paso to compete in the Hyundai Sun Bowl against North Carolina State on Friday, Dec. 29 at 1 p.m. Arizona time.

NC State is 8-4 with a 6-2 record in the ACC this season.

This will be ASU's sixth all-time Sun Bowl appearance. The Sun Devils defeated Duke 36-31 in the 2014 Sun Bowl to complete back-to-back 10-win seasons.

ASU coach Todd Graham agreed to coach the Sun Devils in their bowl game despite being fired by the program after defeating Arizona in the Territorial Cup game in Tempe last weekend.
