The Arizona Cardinals selected linebacker Haason Reddick with the 13th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft on Thursday night.

The 6-foot-1, 237-pound linebacker recorded 10.5 sacks and 22.5 tackles for loss at Temple last season. Reddick's NFL.com draft profile calls him an explosive but slightly undersized player, and "an ascending prospect with high-end potential if he can continue to hone his craft."

The 22-year-old Reddick was originally a walk-on at Temple after playing only four games in his last two years of high school due to injury. He was a first-team All-American Athletic Conference selection in 2016.

Reddick played the outside linebacker position in college, but Cardinals insider Kyle Odegard says Reddick will likely move to inside linebacker with the Cardinals.

"I had a strong mindset, a strong will, and I was determined to get here," Reddick told NFL Network after the Cardinals selected him.
