The No. 9 Penn State Nittany Lions have a record six Fiesta Bowl victories. They'll look for win No. 7 when they take on the No. 11 Washington Huskies in the Playstation Fiesta Bowl at University of Phoenix Stadium on Dec. 30 at 2 p.m.

Penn State is a perfect 6-0 in the Fiesta Bowl. Its last appearance came on Jan. 1, 1997, in a win over Texas. Ohio State and ASU both have five Fiesta Bowl wins.
Meanwhile, the Huskies are set to make their Fiesta Bowl debut. They earned the final New Years Six bowl bid by virtue of finishing No. 11 in the College Football Playoff rankings.

Penn State and Washington both finished the regular season with a 10-2 record. The Nittany Lions went 7-2 in the Big Ten, while the Huskies went 7-2 in Pac-12 play.
