$810K raised in ABC15's Phoenix Children's Hospital Telethon

ABC15 hosted the seventh annual ABC15 Telethon benefiting Phoenix Children’s Hospitalon Tuesday, April 10, and raised $810,857, a record for the telethon. 

The event, broadcasted live from the hospital campus, raised $740,585 for Phoenix Children’s patient families in 2017.

The telethon included appearances from ABC15 on-air personalities, a phone bank staffed by sponsors and community volunteers, celebrity cameos and inspirational stories shared by the hospital’s superhero patients.

Every dollar raised during the ABC15 Telethon will have a direct impact on patient care and critical programs and services provided to patients and families.

“Telethon is a crucial fundraiser for the patients and families at our hospital,” said Steve Schnall, senior vice president and chief development officer of Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation. “Each year, ABC15 and the public blow us away with their compassion for the kids that need their help the most.”
