PHOENIX – Since 1968, Glendale’s version of the Wonka Factory has been churning out delicious chocolate.

Cerreta’s Candy Co. was founded when Jim Cerreta moved from Ohio to Glendale, Ariz. with eight kids and one candy machine. Fifty-one years later, Cerreta Candy Co. is still sweeter than ever.
Through the years almost every member of the Cerreta family has worked in the store.
“It’s super rad though I get to work with my family. And get to be part of a fun family thing,” said Tony Cerreta.
And yes, it’s nearly impossible to work without tasting.
“I can’t resist. I gotta walk through every day and get my sample, or 10,” said Alec Aragon, Production Manager, Cerreta’s Candy Co.
Tours are available Monday through Friday where you can see, literally, thousands of pounds of chocolate being poured, dipped, drizzled and, our favorite, eaten.
