Arie Luyendyk is going to be a dad.
The former race car driver-turned-"Bachelor" contestant announced the news Wednesday in a post on Instagram.
"Nothing compares, absolutely nothing compares to the moment you find out you’re going to be a dad!" he said. "We cried, we laughed and it really was such a special moment for us, we’re so freakin’ happy!"
The post included a photo of Luyendyk kissing his fiancee Lauren Burnham while holding ultrasound photos.
Luyendyk famously -- or infamously, depending on your perspective -- proposed to Becca Kufrin during his season of The Bachelor only to renege weeks later and, instead, proposed to Burnham.
The couple lives in Scottsdale. They told The View in March that they plan to get married in January in Hawaii.
