Families will be able to spend a free weekend at the Arizona Science Center.

On Saturday, Sept. 30 and Sunday, Oct. 1, admission to the science center will be free for everyone, and tickets to the theater and Planetarium shows will be reduced to $5. (Admission is normally $13-$18 with shows an additional $5-$9 per person.)

The promotion is part of its "Fry's Free Weekend" event.

Registration will start at 8:30 a.m. The center will close at 5 p.m. each day.

Pre-registration and tickets to the theater and Planetarium shows can also be purchased online.

Because of the promotion, the science center is expected to be busy so be prepared for a lot of people and kids moving throughout the center's four floors.
