PHOENIX — Barbie is headed to Arizona and bringing some of the '90s with her.
The Barbie Pop-up Truck -- a bright pink van outfitted with pictures of tennis rackets, nail polish, sunglasses, and a boom box -- will visit the Scottsdale Quarter in Scottsdale on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2020, as part of its "Totally Throwback Tour" to celebrate the brand's 60-year history.
The mobile pop-up store will be parked at The Quad near the fountain from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m., according to an online schedule. It will have a variety of 90s-themed Barbie merchandise for sale, including denim jackets, necklaces, t-shirts, cassette tape wallets, and vinyl fanny packs.
Items cost between $12-$75, a news release said. The truck only accepts credit cards as payment.
For those unable to make it to Scottsdale on Saturday, the pop-up truck is already scheduled to make a return trip in the fall. It will visit La Encantada in Tucson on Nov. 7, 2020, and will make the drive up to SanTan Village in Gilbert on Nov. 14, 2020, according to its website.
