Those looking for a little bit of Christmas cheer during the COVID-19 pandemic, summer heatwave, and the potential for some monsoon storms this week, are in luck as radio station 99.9 KEZ plans to air 24 hours of Christmas tunes on Saturday, July 25.

Called "KEZ Chrismas in July," the iHeartMedia-owned radio station said it would also encourage its listeners to put up their trees, lights, and other traditions associated with the holidays.

KEZ played Christmas music back in March, shortly after the state when into lockdown.

“It’s July and it’s 110 degrees in Phoenix, and Johnny Mathis is on the radio – sounds pretty on track for 2020, doesn’t it?” said Paul Kelley, program director for 99.9 KEZ, in a statement.

People can listen to KEZ on their radio, via the iHeartMedia app, and through KEZ's website.

For those looking to listen to Christmas music year-round, there are plenty of streaming platforms that have Christmas playlists, including iHeartRadio, Pandora, Spotify, and Apple Music.

Just a friendly reminder, if you're counting -- Christmas is 157 days away.
