For the first time in nearly a decade, Kit Kat is mixing it up (literally) and adding a new flavor to candy aisles in the United States.
The new treat is a combination of mint and dark chocolate, called "Kit Kat Duos Mint + Dark Chocolate." It has mint creme on top and dark chocolate on the bottom with a wafer in the middle.

Kit Kat's other U.S. flavors are milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate, and strawberry.
"Our fans in the U.S. have been requesting new Kit Kat flavors and we're excited to share we are adding to the Kit Kat family with the launch of Kit Kat Dups Mint + Dark Chocolate," said Christopher Kinnard, Kit Kat's senior brand manager, in a statement. "But, here's the best part - we are just getting started. Keep your eyes peeled; there is more to come from the Kit Kat brand."
According to the release, the new flavor will be available in stores in December.
