SAN TAN VALLEY, AZ — After nine years, Encanterra's "The Good Life Festival," the community's annual spring public open-house and concert, will end in 2019.

Creedence Clearwater Revisited and Three Dog Night will co-headline the final concert, March 23, 2019 at Encanterra, 36460 N Encanterra Drive, in San Tan Valley.

Hall of Famers and founding members Stu Cook and Doug Clifford will perform alongside Steve Gunner, Kurt Griffey and Dan McGuinness.

Nate Nathan and The Mac Daddy O's will be the openers.

A reason for the festival's cancellation was not given, but festival representatives said the community would have smaller acts and local musicians perform for residents at future events.

In recent years, the festival has hosted The Beach Boys, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Cheap Trick, Jake Owen and The Band Perry, Kenny Loggins, Michael McDonald and Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Alexa Ablondi, public relations specialist for Shea Homes, said in an email that more than half of next's year's tickets have been sold and that they're expecting the event to sell out.

The festival was founded in 2011 "to offer people a taste of the good life that the members of Trilogy Communities enjoy," according to the festival website. It includes tours of the community's model homes, beer and wine tasting, food trucks and cooking demonstrations.

Three Dog Night performed at the festival's inaugural event, according to a news release.

Tickets are $50 for general admission and $80-$95 for reserved seating. Wine or beer tasting is $25. Tickets can be purchased, here. Parking is $10-$40.
