Casa Anejo: Take a look inside the newest Mexican restaurant to Phoenix's 7th Street
Casa Anejo is the latest restaurant to open at The Colony off 7th Street, north of Missouri. It offers "modern, wood-fired twists on authentic Mexican" dishes. It is the latest concept from Evening Entertainment Group, the restaurant group behind Sandbar Mexican Grill, RnR, Bevvy and Bottled Blonde. It is set to open May 5, 2017. Here's your sneak peek inside the restaurant and a few appetizers.

The kitchen is led by Chef Joe Absolor and the bar menu was crafted by mixologist Riley Jones. See that host stand? It's a large avocado, texturized and pit included. The bar is led by Riley Jones. It features 98 different Agave spirits between tequila, mezcal, and bacanora. It has more than a dozen beers on tap. Seating is available around much of the bar.Photo by: Josh Frigerio, ABC15

This is the outdoor street bar. When the indoor kitchen closes, this bar will remain open until midnight during the week and 2 a.m. on weekends. It will serve street corn and a design-your-own-guacamole bar.
