First look: Angels Trumpet Alehouse opens second restaurant in Arcadia

Angels Trumpet Alehouse now has two locations in the Valley. The beer garden and restaurant recently opened within the Arcadia Crossing shopping center near 44th Street and Thomas Road. Unlike its original location, this one also has a cocktail lounge and, eventually, will have a microbrewery. The hours are 11 a.m. - midnight, daily.Josh Frigerio
Owners Sharry and Mat Englehorn opened the original Angels Trumpet in downtown Phoenix in 2012. For the second location, they renovated an 11,000-square-foot building that formerly was home to Sears Auto Center.Josh Frigerio
They have seating for more than 200 people, including a 46-seat private dining/meeting space.Josh Frigerio
They have more than 30 craft beers and wines on tap from local and national breweries.Josh Frigerio
The main dining room has an outdoor patio with a chalkboard beer menu, as well as tables and chairs, lawn chairs and backyard-style games, including cornhole.Josh Frigerio
The beer kegs are stored behind the bar in a commercial-sized shipping container. The owners hope to open a microbrewery within the next year.Josh Frigerio

"Tall Glass" is a new cocktail concept from owners Sharry and Mat Englehorn. There is a 40-seat island bar, three booths and a handful of tables.Josh Frigerio
The bar will feature different craft spirits, including Oregon-based Rouge Spirits and San Diego-based Cutwater Spirits, as well as small bar bites. People will be able to order off Angels Trumpets' menu. Tall Glass has its own entrance but is also connected to Angels Trumpet's main dining room via a hallway.Josh Frigerio
