February restaurant openings: 10 new eateries to try in the Valley
Check out 10 of the newest restaurants that opened their doors around the Phoenix are in February.
MODERN MARKET
Modern Market is a Colorado-based restaurant chain that serves simple dishes using quality ingredients from farms. The menu features a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner options, including salads, sandwiches and pizzas. It opened its first Arizona location near Scottsdale Fashion Square. It is located in the same complex as Postino's.

The Oak Room is one of the newest restaurants to Mesa. The gastropub features a horseshoe bar and a large Oak tree in the middle of the dining room with lights hanging down from the ceiling.

Freddy's opened another one of its locations north of Phoenix in the Anthem Crossroads Shopping Center. The fast-food chain serves steakburgers, custard, Vienna beef hot dogs and shoestring fries. Freddy's has plans to open other locations in Gilbert, Peoria and Scottsdale.

POKITRITION POKE SHOP
Poke is the latest food trend. It is a Hawaiian dish that combines raw fish, rice, veggies and other toppings. Pokitrition's staple is sushi burritos (or sushi-ritos)! Pokitrition opened in Chandler!

THE ROOSTER TAVERN
