July 11 may be a typical Wednesday to some. But, to others it means free slurpees and likely brain freezes to go along with it.
7-Eleven convenience stores will be celebrating the 7-11 date on the calendar with free small slurpees at all participating locations across the country from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. local time.
The specialty flavor is Captain Crunch Crunch Berries, flavored after the popular cereal, according to a news release.
"7‑Eleven Day is a celebration, not only of our birthday, but more importantly, of our customers," said Raj Kapoor, 7‑Eleven's senior vice president for fresh food and proprietary beverages, in a written statement.
The convenience store will also have its "Big Bite" hot dogs on sale for $1.

According to 7-Eleven's website, there are 61 stores in the Valley: 26 in Phoenix, six in Mesa, five in Tempe, three in Gilbert, two in Scottsdale and Chandler, and a location in Peoria and Glendale.
Tucson has 14 locations.
The Irvine, Texas-based company launched in 1927 in Dallas.
