GLENDALE, AZ — Six months after announcing that her 15-year residency in Las Vegas would end -- the last show is June 8, 2019 at Caesars Palace -- Celine Dion already has big plans in the works.
On Thursday, the singer announced that she would embark on a North American tour and that she has a new album out later this year (In a Facebook Live video on Wednesday, she told the audience that her album would be out around November).
Dion's "Courage World Tour" will launch in September in Canada before making its way across the United States.
Her tour is scheduled to visit Glendale's Gila River Arena on March 30, 2020.
Tickets for the first leg of her tour will go on sale on Friday, April 12, according to a news release. Members of her fan club can purchase tickets on April 8 at 10 a.m.
The Arizona concert is part of the second leg of her tour and ticket sales for those dates would be announced at a later date, the release said. All online ticket sales would include a CD copy of her new album.
In a Facebook Live on Wednesday, Dion told the crowd: "I think it's time for a change. Time to hit the road." She added that this time, she would be driving the tour bus.
