PHOENIX — Arizona-based Harkins Theatres has released the design for its 2021 loyalty cup, which entitles moviegoers to $2 refills on soda, and have become a yearly collector's item of sorts.
The new design features memorable photographs of Harkins's 87-year history and movie projection beams that "represent enthusiasm for the future," the theater chain said in a news release.

Each cup is $7, a quarter more than the 2020 version.
Speaking of the 2020 version, due to the pandemic and movie theaters being closed for months and not many new movies being released, Harkins said those with the 2020 loyalty cup would be able to use them and receive the benefit through June 30, 2021.
Harkins has also extended active "Popcorn Perks" memberships 180 days from their expiration dates.
The cup can be purchased at all Harkins movie theaters or at www.harkins.com.
