You know summer is on its way because the school year winds down and those Arizona thermometers crawl higher and higher into the 90s. One way to stay cool is to head to the movies!.
Harkins Theatres released its "Summer Movie Fun" schedule.
Throughout the summer, Harkins will showcase a series of kid-friendly animated films each week.
This year’s picks include Shaun The Sheep, The Peanuts Movie, Home, Kung Fu Panda 2 and Hotel Transylvania 2.
The movies will show Monday through Friday at 9:45 a.m. (doors open at 9 a.m.) at Harkins Theatres across the Valley.
A season pass costs $7 and individual movie tickets cost $2. They will also offer a Harkins’ kids combo meal, which includes popcorn, fruit snacks and a drink for $4.75.
