Jimmy's of Chicago is closing, the restaurant announced in a Facebook post.
"It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we are closing Jimmy's," the post said. "We want to thank all of our great customers who have made is [sic] all worth it these last 9 years."
The restaurant described itself as an Italian eatery and taproom, a neighborhood bar where Chicago transplants could watch and support their teams.
It was located near Lindsey and Williams Field Road.
A reason for the closure was not specified in the post. We have reached out for additional information and will update our story if we hear back.
