PHOENIX — It is a new year and that means a new lineup of concerts to see in Phoenix!
Matchbox Twenty and Pearl Jam both announced on Monday that they would hit the road on individual tours in 2020 -- and both bands have plans to stop in the Valley of the Sun.
Pop-rock group, Matchbox Twenty, has teamed up with Los Angeles-based The Wallflowers for the "Matchbox Twenty 2020 Tour," which is scheduled to stop at Phoenix's Ak-Chin Pavilion on September 22, 2020.
Members of the band's fan club can purchase tickets early on Tuesday, Jan. 14 at 10 a.m. Citi cardholders can purchase presale tickets on Jan. 15. The general public can buy tickets beginning at 10 a.m. Arizona time (noon EDT) on Friday, Jan. 17 via LiveNation.com.
It is the band's first tour since 2017.

Pearl Jam will hit the road in the spring to celebrate the upcoming release of their eleventh studio album, Gigaton, which is due to be released on March 27, 2020. The band will bring its 2020 tour to Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona on April 11, 2020, according to a news release.
Members of the band's fan club can purchase tickets beginning today, Monday, Jan. 13. People can also register for Ticketmaster's Verified Fan program, which helps to keep tickets in the hands of concertgoers and not companies or resellers. Presale tickets will then go on sale on Thursday, Jan. 23 at 10 a.m. Tickets to the general public will go on sale at 10 a.m. the follow day, Friday, Jan. 24.
