While many of us will refer to March 14 as Tuesday -- Taco Tuesday even -- math and numbers enthusiasts will soak up the day known to them as "Pi" Day.
That is the two-letter Pi, the mathematical value of 3.14..., not the delicious dessert devoured during the holidays. An easy mistake to make, though not as tasty.
To celebrate, some businesses are taking advantage of the opportunity to offer guests a prime deal.

BLAZE PIZZA: On March 14, Blaze Pizza will offer personal pizzas for $3.14. The discount will be applied to one pizza per order. There are three Blaze Pizza locations in the Valley -- Avondale, Phoenix and Tempe. Find one here.
FIRED PIE: One-topping pizzas will be $3.14 on Pi Day. One important note, you do have to purchase a drink which varies between $1.99 - $2.45 to get the discount. This deal is only good from 2 p.m. - close.
SAUCE PIZZA & WINE: Hopefully you're hungry for pizza! Guests will be able to get a cheese pizza for $3.14 on Pi Day. All you have to do is mention "Pi Day" when ordering. It is limited to one deal per guest.
PIEOLOGY: Those who sign up for Pieology's "Pie Lifeeclub" will receive a coupon for a $3.14 customized pizza on March 14. The offer is valid at the Avondale, Chandler and Mesa (Greenfield Gateway) locations. It is not valid at the Tucson location.
HUNGRY HOWIES: Hungry Howies is serving medium, one-topping pizzas for $3.14 on Pi Day. One note, you do have to order Howie Bread ($4.99) and use promo code '314DAY.' Deal is available at their Phoenix, Tempe and Scottsdale locations.
WHOLE FOODS MARKET: You can save $3.14 on pies on Pi Day. Normal retail is $10-$12.
VILLA ITALIA KITCHEN: Get a full-size Neapolitan cheese pizza for $3.14 by downloading an online coupon, good at participating locations. One per customer.
FLORIDINO'S PIZZA & PASTA: Floridino's is offering guests 31.4-percent off a large pizza for "Pi" Day. Make sure to mention "Pizza Pi Day Special" when ordering. According to their online menu, large pizzas vary between $10-$20. With the deal, that's a savings between $3-$6. Details.
FRY'S FOOD STORES: Select eight-inch pies at Fry's Food Stores will be sold for $3.14 on "Pi" Day. Make sure to have your V.I.P. card or number.
