PHOENIX — As some homeowners and shopping centers have decided to rehang Christmas lights to brighten people's spirits amid the coronavirus pandemic, Phoenix radio station 99.9 KEZ announced Monday that it would play Christmas tunes during the evening hours this weekend.

According to KEZ's website, the radio station will play Christmas music on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, March 27-29, from 7 p.m. - midnight after receiving several requests from its listeners.

“People are asking us to play it, let’s play some. You know me, I love Christmas music. I listen to Charlie Brown Christmas all year. If it helps people, let’s do it," said Beth, host of KEZ's morning show, Beth and Friends, according to the station's website.

For those looking to listen to Christmas music year-round, there are plenty of platforms that have Christmas playlists, including iHeartRadio, Pandora, Spotify, and Apple Music.
