Seven years after being closed due to the economic downturn and renovations, Tempe's McClintock Pool has reopened.
On Saturday, July 29, the city and council members will celebrate the reopening with a free night of swimming and snacks.

Tempe Mayor Mark Mitchell and council members will hold a dedication ceremony at 5:30 p.m.
From 6 p.m. - 9 p.m., there will be open swim, snow cones and games, according to a news release.
The pool was made deeper for diving, an ADA-accessible entrance was added and equipment was upgraded.
Pool hours (through August 6)
Lap swimming: Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 6 a.m. - 8 a.m.
Open swim & lap swim: Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Admission is $0.75 for children 6-17 and $1.25 for adults. Children five and younger are free.
