PHOENIX — At least 31 new restaurants opened in metro Phoenix during May, according to company announcements, media reports and Phoenix Business Journal research.
Some of the more high-profile openings last month included:
- The latest Tocaya Organica location at Scottsdale Fashion Square, and,
- The first of (at least) three Bosa Donuts locations in downtown Phoenix.
Among the notable restaurants that closed down in April was the Scottsdale location of Killer Burger, a popular Portland, Oregon-based burger chain mainly in Oregon and southern Washington.
It was open for about a year and was the chain’s only location outside of the Pacific Northwestern.
