Now that the weather has cooled down in the Valley, it's time to get outside and enjoy some of Arizona's beautiful landscapes.

One option is the Desert Botanical Garden.

Their newest art installation -- Electric Desert -- opens to the public on Friday. It mixes projection-mapping video and serene sounds to create a dream-like experience, according to Ricardo Rivera, the artist behind the installation. Watch the video in the player above for a sneak peek.

"I'm trying to create a dream-like landscape for people to wander through," he said. "And, you know, there's no characters or plot lines. It's all on your terms."

There are seven specific sites throughout the garden, including the butte, which features a looped projection. The butte is considered to be the show's focal point.

The tour is self-guided and walkable. Doors open at 6 p.m. each night. The show will be at the garden until through May 12, 2019.

Tickets vary between $13-$30 per person.
