The pool and gymnasium at Tempe's Kiwanis Recreation Center will close in November for nearly two months to undergo renovations and repairs.
The pool will close on Nov. 3 and the gymnasium will close on Nov. 13, the city said. Both are not expected to reopen until Jan. 1, 2019.
However, the fitness center and the batting range will remain open during the renovations.
The pool's deck and lighting will be improved and an environmentally-friendly heater will be installed. In the gym, the floor will be resurfaced and repaired, the city said.
The tennis courts were closed in April for renovations. They are not expected to open until January 2019.
When complete, the facility will have 15 post-tension concrete courts, new LED lighting, fencing, windscreens, and shaded canopies. You can view the progress, here.
