PHOENIX — First, the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile visited Arizona. Now, the Hello Kitty Truck Cafe is headed here.
The traveling mobile store, which was last here in February, sells various Hello Kitty-branded treats and merchandise, including madeleines and cookies, mugs, water bottles, stuffed characters, shirts, and pins, among other items.
It is scheduled to make stops in Gilbert, Glendale, and Tucson in the next few weeks.
- Nov. 21, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. at SanTan Village in Gilbert, near the American Eagle Outfitters store
- Dec. 5, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. at La Encantada in Tucson, near Firebirds Wood Fired Grill
- Dec. 12, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. at Arrowhead Towne Center in Glendale, near JCPenney
The truck only accepts debit or credit cards. It does not accept cash.
Typically, the truck attracts large crowds during its visits.
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the truck's staff will wear masks and gloves and will clean the counter and payment system every half hour. Those waiting in line will be required to wear masks and stanchions and social distancing markers will also be set up.
